Sometimes I think that dramatic events will be needed for humanity to rise above its worst impulses. Maybe it will be small scale, or cyber-scale. Can the actions of a megalomaniac motivated by greed lay waste to the most electronic version of our worst impulses? If so, so begins the redirection perhaps for the best.
