So, storytime. Once a long time ago, I was asked what "my song" was, and told to pick one, and I picked this song, because I loved the words. Later I thought what a ridiculous and melodramatic teenager I had been and rolled my eyes at myself. But I'm starting to like that spacey, self-centered, and overly sensitive young idiot more these days... if that makes any sense? So that song takes me right back to those days.

But it's this part that I like best, because it means don't be afraid:

I also like the part where it says Love is a flower and you are it's only seed, it sounds like romantic love is what she's talking about, but that is literally the only place love could ever come from, is your own self, the person reading the poem. It has to come from us, right? And grow and bloom, somehow.
