I dislike pencil erasers that suck. Whoops, made an error, no big deal that’s why we chose a pencil right? Just use this trusty eraser. maybe a little more. nope. worse somehow?
Now there’s this huge smudgy deal right there on the page, when if you’d just been a cool pencil eraser we would have all been fine. But no. You had to be like this, and now we both look silly.

@Jezibaba so they do have a purpose! I’m just not an artist so their function was just lost to me. Pencils with built in smudgers makes sense to me.
@Jezibaba my brain went to sage smudging first and it took me a moment to realize you weren’t referring to using pencils as a sage substitute.
It’s reasons like this that I need solid erasers!
