@NorthernInvader they just want us to marry men, again. when women have choices, they choose not to marry. amazing, isn't it? we're told women are the ones that want to get hitched. actually, it's men that want to do the hitching.
women are the ones calling for divorce more. they don't do as well as men in a divorce but if they play their cards right, being free of a man can lead to great career & life prospects.
this terrifies cis het men. b/c mediocrity will no longer land them a wife.

I suspect a lot of men get married so they can have a wife and kids to lord over. King of the realm, all that jazz.
@Jeber @NorthernInvader not so much to lord over. i do think they like being taken care of. i do think some have bought into rigid stereotypes. & some just don't know how to be alone.
