I got my 2nd booster a couple weeks ago. Went to the dr for wellness check and got a pneumonia shot bc I’m 65 (thanks for rubbing it in, doc), and have to go get the new shingles vax in 2 weeks even tho I got the old one 3 years ago. But wait! There’s more! I need mammogram and bone density scans but I can wait 10 years for colonoscopy bc I’m 65 (thanks again for rubbing my age in again, doc)! FML. Hahahhahahahahahhaha

Isn’t it great? My housemate commented the other day on how often I go for medical appointments. I told him that’s what happens when you get old. Just like a machine, as we age the parts don’t work as well as they used to. If you ignore that the machine breaks down. But if you are faithful with scheduled maintenance it keeps running.

@Jeber Meh. So not great. Between the blood tests every 3 months and the meds for heartburn, migraines, bursitis, sciatica, etc and EKGs/ECGs and kidney stones and and and…
But I do it bc the alternative is def worse. 😏
