They come in an absolute plethora of different sizes, from cubes that are a couple of tablespoons to entire cup-size ones.
@mcfate love this! Thank you so much for the info!π
If I ever do start a noodle shop, I'm buying an entire gross of these things. I'll spend a weekend doing nothing but making soup for the next month.
@mcfate a noodle shop!! I didn't realize this was an aspiration! That's awesome!
It's more of a fantasy than an aspiration. If I actually tried this, I'd totally end up being the "Noodle Nazi".
THAT'S IT! OUT!! NO DANDANMEN FOR YOU!!!
@mcfate true, BUT, if it's a passion, you could love it! Like me, with my dog grooming. There's days where people and dogs drive me absolutely crazy, but at the end of it all, I still love it.
I can honestly remember thinking decades ago that it would be great if there were some way to earn a living by reading, watching horror movies, and smoking weed.
@mcfate movie critic, maybe? π€£ Book reviewer?
I don't think it's what I'm good at.
I DID what I'm good at for long enough that I sort of don't "have" to do much of anything at all, and I like that.
"I just...DO stuff!" β The Dark Knight
@mcfate good. Now you yet to enjoy your life. As you should! I say follow your noodle dream. Even if it's small pop up or farmers market type scenes. You could test it out for fun, see how you like it! I know if I was ever in your area, I'd come support you!
@JeSsA
We like it, we used it to freeze a bunch of chicken-bone broth I made so it wouldn't go bad.
It's sturdy silicone, so the frozen cubes are easy to remove and put in a freezer bag, and it washes up well. I'm not much of a plastic fan, but in the right application, silicone is great stuff. It comes with a lid, so the cubes don't get "crusty" with ice.
