Good Lord. An hour? Longer? Until you can stick a fork in 'em without having to push hard.
By Wednesday should be ready π
Eleven days. π
for the hand, 10 mins a side @ 375 works for meβ¦.
@JeSsA It's going to be a while. You might have been better off wrapping them in foil, or cutting them in half and cooking them . Less cook time.
my suggestion would par-broil them in the microwave first for about 5 minutes. Then maybe another half hour in the oven wrapped in foil
or peel and cut into 1 inch chunks and bake until slightly brown maybe 20 minutes
or slice into 1/2 "Disks" and bake for 10, flip and bake for 10-20 minutes more until browned
@JeSsA Hey Jess π ! Have you ever tried microwaving them first? This is what I do. Microwave them for about 6 minutes... er... 9 for those bad boys... then in the oven at 350 for about an hour.
They come out so sweet and smooth that way.
@janallmac I usually do microwave them but this time I decide to go to Lazy route, Lazy because I put all my bread and English muffins in the microwave and I don't feel like unloading it all to put the potato in lol. So, I have it in the oven at 350 for an hour and a half which seems I guess about right. I don't mind waiting for it to be done
@JeSsA gotta' agree with the nuke 'em some first. otherwise probably closer to 90 mins in the oven.
@JeSsA smear with butter, wrap in foil and Iβd give an hour and check.
