If your clothes still.. "smell" because they are primarily made from oil and will not get clean.. why not put MORE chemical in the wash that cover the smell.. so now they smell doubly and permanently bad. "logic."
@JazzCrafter another cause of after washing fabric odors (if you use natural fibers only) is using too much detergent. don't ever use what the bottle recommends. at most a tablespoon, i use maybe a teaspoon& a half on dirty farm clothes. if there's suds in the rinse, you used too much. i loathe those smelly laundry add-ons
