They believe Biden has spies planted in Southern Churches. They hate America as it is and want a Christian theocracy. The voters around me want the nation to go down in flames.

The hopeless places are largely the wide open spaces where they get the same amount of political clout as NY.
I get snail mail almost every day ranting and raving about insane right wing things that no one in their right mind would believe. And yet, people do.
If I got something from the left that was that bizarre I'd be calling someone on the team and suggesting psychiatric hospitalization - stat.

Sure, they'll try to blame Biden. Some might even believe it for a time. But all of them? Nope.

They think Trump will get re-elected and all their Trump dollars will be cash on the barrelhead. They'll execute all the Democrats. Life will be good. FML

@J_Windrow I believe that those hopeless places are far outnumbered by places that can still be saved.
And I think that the hopelessness within them is a relative, nuanced thing.
Reality sometimes brings forth a hard reset that adjusts those perspectives. We haven't had anything like that in some time, but history is rife with examples.
