Trump continued his attacks on Jack Smith in multiple online posts. He also said that his case shouldn't be governed by the Espionage Act, but by the Presidential Records Act, which does not contain any criminal penalties

Except the Presidential Records Act is about, well, retrieving and storing Presidential Records. Classified Documents are not Presidential Records and theft of them falls under the very large and very important Espionage Act which Trump himself made tougher by assuring his actions are now felonies.
