3) “Volcano” was a favorite sing-along when my kids were younger (along with “Yellow Submarine” and “Day-O”) and I can’t wait to sing it with my grands. 4) Wearing out countless copies of “Songs You Know By Heart” and 5) The time we were ordering burgers and my youngest pipes up with, “I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and French-fried potatoes!” Rest well JB 🦜
Spent all day yesterday listening to Jimmy Buffett and recalling all of the great memories associated with his music. 1) learning the words to Margaritaville and singing along with my father as he played on acoustic guitar when I was maybe 5 or 6. 2) getting to see JB in concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills on the verrrry last day of my 20’s before the big 3-0 the next day……..when he sang “Gypsies in the Palace” the place went absolutely wild.
