I’ve been studying Japanese for almost three years on Duolingo. I’ve gotten to the point where I could rattle off a bunch of Japanese syllables with an approximate sentence construction to *sound* like Japanese. I even can read and understand some of it, and speak some sentences. Will I ever be fluent? I doubt it. But it’s fun to study & challenge my brain.
