The biggest problem with working in technology is that it is often simple enough to use, but few people actually understand it.
So the inevitable "well this should be really easy to do/Change/update/rewrite from scratch" requests are only met with frustration like I'm the idiot when I try to explain that its not that easy to actually do.
Hypothetically speaking of course.

@JGNWYRK I'm tempted to ask them for some pseudocode illustrating their ideas. Probably out of bounds, but it'd definitely cram some donuts into the mouths of a few Homers.
