Yeah, got some stories about how we'd register for basket-weaving-type courses & then unregister & the admins had incomplete scripts that didn't disable shell access (wh00ps!).

Yeah, back in the mid 80's we just went to the University of Washington library and checked out a book, and opened it up, and the all the student IDs of the students who checked it out, were right there, along with the dates of when the book was checked out.
We used those student IDs to log onto BITNET. π
