Just got a phone call from a local VFW Commander that has me crying tears of joy and put the upside down year of 2017 into a much clearer perspective for me.

I knit or crochet blankets for our local area VFW, Elks, and Moose lodges, 6 in total. Each year I donate 1 large project to each, large being queen to king sized, as well as dozens of smaller lapgans, hats, etc.

I always leave it to them as to what they want to do with them. Give to members in need or auction off for $ to help more. 1/
