Did they open both sides of the highway yet? That is, they sometimes make both sides northbound. I really hope they do. People need to get out of there.

@janallmac A mandatory evacuation order is in effect for Anna Maria Island.
Manatee County officials said all water will be turned off on the island at 10 a.m. All power will be shut off in the afternoon or early evening.

💔 I just hope everyone gets to as safe a place as possible. I love those little islands, as I know you do too. And the people on them.
