Hey @Bix β€”

It’s (still) my contention that Col n’ Partsy went out with their best album.

@InUnfunky Great album, but I always tend to lead to Apple Venus Vol. 1.

Slower, more moody, but full of stuff I wish I had written.

@Animeraider

I like the β€œApple” tunes below, but that’s it. All of β€œWasp” knocked my socks off from the get-go and continues to do soβ€¦πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘

Colin wanted both albums released as one, if I remember correctly? πŸ€”

@InUnfunky I think "The Last Balloon" is one of the great fade outs in album history, and it's a great song to follow "Harvest Festival".

I don't know the story of why they were released seperately - face it, Andy was going through some heavy stuff at that moment.

I think sometimes people just wanted more Skylarking and Oranges and Lemons and they weren't interested in that anymore.

@Animeraider

IMO they got better with each album…so as far as I’m concerned that’s a problem for us β€” as XTC fans β€” to have. πŸ€”πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ€£πŸ‘πŸ‘

@InUnfunky Love "The more complicated keyboard parts" in the credits!

@InUnfunky
It not their best album, but Black Sea is my favorite CD. I like choppy and bouncy.

@InUnfunky
I like your pick.
Also, I know that you have training in logic and rock 'n' roll.

Here is your medal for studying XTC on this
