@InUnfunky Great album, but I always tend to lead to Apple Venus Vol. 1.
Slower, more moody, but full of stuff I wish I had written.
I like the “Apple” tunes below, but that’s it. All of “Wasp” knocked my socks off from the get-go and continues to do so…🤷🏻♂️👍
Colin wanted both albums released as one, if I remember correctly? 🤔

@InUnfunky I think "The Last Balloon" is one of the great fade outs in album history, and it's a great song to follow "Harvest Festival".
I don't know the story of why they were released seperately - face it, Andy was going through some heavy stuff at that moment.
I think sometimes people just wanted more Skylarking and Oranges and Lemons and they weren't interested in that anymore.

IMO they got better with each album…so as far as I’m concerned that’s a problem for us — as XTC fans — to have. 🤔🤷🏻♂️🤣👍👍
