The folks over at Fark.com asked a good question today: "So what happens if Hunter Biden just ignores the congressional subpoenas like (Trump) and all his cronies have?"
In a good-faith US political world, this would lead to a further deterioration of rules, ethics, norms, law and order, etc. In the bad-faith world that we've been in since Bubba, Benghazi, and Trump...well...
In other words, all the GQP has cared about for a while now is flooding the zone with bullshit and duping their deplorables with fashy spectacles. To participate (particularly since Trumpootie) in such a flimflammery is a vain exercise…cuz Fox has done such a good job of poisoning the minds of an entire generation of “conservative” TV viewers.
Am I imagining that Ailes said if they’d had Fox back then Watergate would’ve never happened? 🤔
