Not everyone, everywhere, but the *majority* of ppl in the US support progressive values like same-sex marriage & labor unions & legalization of cannabis &c. We're a progressive nation, run by retrogressive fucknauts.
& it's the retrogressive ppl making things so shitty. The authoritarians, the GOP, conservatives, MAGA-heads & ammosexuals & so on.
& also hopeful: commenter reminded readers & lurkers that the US is a progressive nation, & provided stats to back the argument up that yes, indeed, we are, in terms of the bulk of *the people*.
