Been watching a lot of shows lately about abandoned buildings & shipwrecks & stuff like that all over the world, & it's surprising how many places they go that end up being a reminder that Nazis shit up everything.
Half the time when a given show covers a site in Europe somewhere, it turns out to be either a place the Nazis built or a place other ppl built to fight off the Nazis; & same is true when they find or visit a shipwreck anywhere in the N Atlantic.
Kinda seems like a big root of all evil in the 20th century was... wait for it... NAZIS.
& remember when people in the US understood that Nazis were THE BAD GUYS? Good times, good times.
@Impious_Jade Thing is, the Nazis were just the latest manifestation of a disease that has apparently plagued our species back to the beginning of civilization, and possibly beyond.
@TwiHusband Yeah, xenophobia is a helluva drug...
But then sometimes they'll visit a place in Africa or S. America & turns out hey! It was a resort... used by Nazis. Or a colonial barracks... built by Fascist Italians, who were in bed with Nazis. Or something like that.
