I probably gave her shitty advice, but a strange friend of mine asked me my opinion on whether or not she should accept the offer of a slate mine in Oslo, Norway for $1 and I told her NOT to take it.

It hasn't been in use in decades, and she knows nothing about mining.

Sure she'd own a mine in Norway, but what about taxes and whatnot? How about the restrictions regarding mining in the historic Oslo district?

Sounds WAY too hinky to me...
