@Kaydenpat1 @Ignatz: 130 years ago he would've been hanged, and there'd immediately be a dozen or more fewer Representatives and Senators in Congress that'd need replacing, not to mention a few former members of Congress, now in private life, who'd also be on the block.
@Ignatz Sadly, probably not. 100 years ago was the 1920s, famous for the Teapot Dome Scandal. Which was the biggest scandal until Watergate and resulted in one dude serving 6 months.
We aren't very good at teaching lessons, it seems. 😕
