I think I know why ppl think this place is so left.
For so long, the right side has been spouting such fuck nut crazy shit, that anything not unhindged seems left of center. But in reality, this place is just absent of the bullshittery.

Absolutely. Not just that, but there's no ads to prop up one side or the other.
We are not constantly being bombarded with political ideology or sides.
We may seem leftist to those that lean way right and expect others on social media to not only support their behavior but encourage and engage in it themselves.
In reality, we just don't fuck around with bullshit that wastes our collective time or energy. Got better shit to do.
@Idrake What is now labeled "leftist" was considered "middle of the road" not too long ago.
@BillieBun well when one end jumped off the cliff on the right (Tea Party) and the wackjobs in that whole group said "hold my beer" and MAGA was born taking it so far right it circled the whole spectrum.. yeah everything not on the level of Marjorie Trailer Greene seems as far left.

@Idrake We're left leaning in our social stances for sure. But as someone who often bounces between radical moderate and crazy fact based leftie, who still finds lots of fun, interesting folks to chit chat with, I'd say anyone foaming at the mouth like that about us won't ever find a home...
