Mom passed away at 2:29pm, peacefully, surrounded by family.
@Idrake I am sorry for your loss. I lost my dad in 1985, and was blessed to have my mom until 2016. The sorrow gets easier to bear with time, but never goes away; sending you a virtual hug.
Your mom knew she had your love, right to the end. It’s the best one can do.

@sugarpopspete thanks for the kind words! Yeah it is going to get harder, right now a busy mind is helping to distract, but it hits in moments and I cry.
We talked to the pastor today, ahead of sevice tomorrow. Shared a lot of memories, laughed a good bit. Was good.
