@Idrake sorry I don’t live near a military post right now, or I would drive in. We always seemed to have our DEFCON level posted a decade ago.
@Thumprhare folks that run defcon level do open sourced intel, it isn't like the military has a website saying what the defense condition is, I do believe given vlad is raising his alert level, so would we.
@Idrake I agree with you, my point was that if I was near a post I would go see what it was because it was posted every morning going through the gate. I wouldn’t say it is “secret” but it isn’t publicly broadcast. I was always so happy when we would go from 4 to 5 — seemed we lived at 4….and occasionally went to 3. I am trying to remember if there was ever a time where we sat at 2 for any length of time. Fingers crossed cuz of Poutine.
@Thumprhare yeah man.. plus raised defcon levels means tighter security to enter the base.
But yeah, defcon 1 doesn't mean nuclear war like most folks think, just means we are close to it.

@Idrake I hope not, but I will repeat — I do not trust crazy. I also don’t trust NPD/ASPD — since narcissistic injury is real and deadly. I always liken it to the most dangerous time for people who have fled domestic violence is the month after they leave. That is when the murder-suicides happen.

@Idrake I arguably have accès to a post if needed….oh, I already have water, food and ammo….but that is more my normal planning mode. Furthered since I live in Trumplandia.
