So for my birthday I treated myself to my first ever cannabis products. Legally, even. Recreational use is legal in my state, despite that they still haven't permitted the sale of it without medical ID.
So I mail ordered it from CA.
I've only taken enough to get really "high" once, while watching wrestling. It was a 5+ hour show and I didn't get bored. 😅
Tonight I'm going to try again, while playing No Man's Sky, a generally chill game where you explore procedurally-generated alien worlds with a trippy/vibey piano soundtrack. Should be fun.
I love No Man's Sky.
The current expedition is not so chill, but in normal mode it's just engaging and challenging enough to make me focus on the game and take my mind off everything else.
And it's gorgeous!
@tyghebright The expedition is going to be what I play. Survival mode is how my normal save is, so it'll just be normal for me. I usually feel like I'm cheating in the expeditions. 😂
It's not quite like a normal survival or permadeath playthrough because they raised the costs on upgrades dramatically (forcing you to rely on what you get as rewards.)
@tyghebright gotcha. Sounds interesting. That's part of what I like about the expeditions, how they're kind of bespoke experiences like that. Like how last time you couldn't build a base until it was over, so everything was based on mission rewards and, perhaps, smuggling.
I got into smuggling. Oh my that was lucrative.
@tyghebright And I don't go near Permadeath. Never, in a game like this. These games are buggy by nature and I'm a risky player. Happy to take the extra difficulty of survival, but don't erase my save. 😅
