I’ve been giving my bronze field watch some wrist time this week. The case is developing a very nice patina. I’m a fan.

To me, it’s the Arabic numerals, minute track, and monochromatic color scheme. And it looks like similar watches that I see described as a field watch.

Traditionally used in the military in the olden days, at least as far as I know.

But it’s subjective, too.

I think the concept was designed to be simple, with little that could go wrong in the field. It does have a hacking movement, though, to help with synchronization of watches in the squad.

Switch blade would be cool AF, though. 😀
