Remember, the biggest sin of the Barbie movie is that it's something that teenage girls might like.
Everything else is just a flimsy set of excuses laid out to hide this central theme.
Just like Twilight, and The Hunger Games, countless tween movies before it, countless boy bands, and tween fiction - anything that teen girls might like is bad.
Once you really notice this, it's actually kind of depressing.
