I wanted to save this for my eclectic playlist when I do another music thread but it just seems like the right time now.

This is a cool lil video to watch, and the sound is just a real funky kinda guitar with chill vocals. This is a great song that just somehow never got it's due.

Welp, guess I am going on that eclectic playlist tonight anyways.

This right here, is an amaaaaazing version of an already wonderful song. There's something about the way Hope sings in this version that is hauntingly beautiful.

Depending on your mood, this one just might make you cry.

I will never get tired of recommending Louis Cole songs. Some of them are a bit too weird for normal tastes, but man are they always creative.

The live version of Thinking is part of his random videos in (supposedly) his mom's house. No matter what it's an incredibly fun watch, and a really groovy song.

I dare you to act like you aren't impressed when Ben Wendell's sax solo sets your computer on fire at 03:12.

You've heard this song in commercials before, you just likely never knew the name.

Building Steam with a Grain of Salt was one of DJ Shadow's early successes. He was a pioneer of using older records of mundane things and transforming them into a sonic wonderland.

You may not last the whole song, but you have jammed along to the first 2 minutes and didn't even know it.

I don't know why this isn't on more Halloween playlists. Surprise a few people by throwing RJD2's The Horror in and watch people start to nod their heads and ask "what song is this???"

Lots of clashing chords, some break beats, a really effin funky bassline and quotes from a cheesy 50s horror film make this a classic.

Oh.

My.

God.

I love this song. Everything about it is literally perfect. It's got an incredibly catchy beat. It's short and to the point, it deals with complex and messy emotions, and Emelia's vocals really sell the self-loathing, fear, love, and happiness all wrapped up in a ball of emotions.

It's 2-1/2 minutes long. You might end up listening to it for 10.

I am in the wilderness,
You are in the music...

Sade's voice makes me melt everytime I hear it. She has some mega hits that were in movies but that's not what we are listening to here.

Lover's Rock is just a beautiful song about how a woman loves her mate, who represents the ultimate in safety , security and love.

She's singing about the love that you are lucky to have if you've got it.

Last one for this set. I guess I'm ending on two amazing love songs.

I don't know how familiar Anita Baker is to the overall CoSo collective, but few do it better.

There's something about her velvety voice and the power she can let loose vocally when she wants.

You need a wholesome cleanser song for 2020. Let Mrs. Baker sing you a beautiful song.
