@TheCard #sleep Sleeping well or not has nothing to do with maturity, but rather with life circumstances and environment!
I am old and I need sleeping pills only because I have always allowed my brain to fixate on daily events! Turn and toss has been my type of sleep for a long time as an adult!
So rest assured that sleeping like a baby applies to all levels of maturity!π
Aye that! I am old, but I sleep like a master dream surfer.
I recall being sleepless when younger though, usually due to unsatisfying work for people I did not respect, bad diet, lack of exercise, stress, anxiety, doubt, fear, guilt.
Also, your sampling may not be representative. I think people who sleep well tend to not go on about it :)

@ceorl Right, that's my curse, I can spend hours mulling over incidents or happenings of the day. I have to consciously block my brain to stop analyzing all possibilities!
Your language seems to come from Scotland or thereabouts!π
Mine is a learned third language so forgive my academic styleπ

Oh and I do love those old Brit movies as well :)
@Helveticus
ha, it is not uncommon to hear Aye on a sailboat, though I think "Aye That" may be a an affectation I've picked up from who knows where at this point.
I find that I prefer to resurrect antiquated expressions rather than adopt many of the new ones.
Did you see @awnaves cheat-sheet of Shakespearean shade castings from earlier today?
Great stuff to bring sparkle back to conversations :)
