@CinnamonGirlE I so miss riding trains! I watch those live YouTube videos of trains to 'get the feel' of. Rode many as a kid up North, both long distance & subway ones. Was always excited to go on a rail trip. Great photograph

I love trains too. I grew up only a few blocks away from trains, but now I don't live anywhere close to one. I miss seeing and hearing them.
@CinnamonGirlE Norfolk Southern runs through; Amtrack's station is 30 miles away. One runs over bottom of our street, another uphill a mile away. Can hear the long loud horns on a quiet night. Just the clickety clack & long horn blowing still takes me back. We rode Amtrack every summer CT to NC. Loved the sleeper cars; kids had one, parents another. When they slept, we ran the length of train, jumping car to car, my big Bro always threatening to push me & Sis off & tell parents we ran away!
