Walked into pharmacy the other day. Lots of folks inside; some old, some young, lots White, a few Black. I passed an older Black man & he said "Glad to see you in here; you're one of us!"
Confused, I did a double take and said "Excuse me Sir?" ready to combat a racial thing.
He laughed heartily, knowing my 1st thought. He then pointed to his mask & repeated it as he looked around. Only then did I notice/realize what he meant: 'one of us' was those who still mask ! 95% in store weren't. Ugh
