Texted my lil Sis other week to say hi. She told me she had COVID. Of course I called/told her all the worried big Sis stuff. She refused Dr visit, but was quarantining away from her Hubs. Next day, texted again to check on her. Hubs was in ICU! He has heart issues & more. Both are ok; he was released last Sunday. Both back at work now. Both work w/public. Both vaccinated, both wear masks. Felt so bad myself last week, I took test. Negative, but still feel off kilter. Be safe/😷; vaccines do wrk!
@dratino Thank you & I'm glad too! Just goes to show that precautions are great, yet like all illnesses/diseases, not a cure all to totally avoid it. I truly believe he wouldn't have survived ICU had he not been 💉; I remember having to stress getting one to them until they relented; told them they couldn't come around me unless they did. They were masking, but hesitated on a 💉; said I was being overly dramatic about chances of catching it: "It won't make a big difference".
