Was sitting on porch w/hubs until the sun started going down as cars speed down our street as if with purpose. Heard the sweetest of sounds that I've not heard in a couple of weeks; children's unbridled laughter as they were allowed to play outside for a few minutes on their trampoline♥️
Things that before were taken for granted without a thought, are now life's little blessings. Treasure them💙
@stueytheround Sounds travel longer distances, colors seem brighter, &, the air, although carrying the unknown, is clearer. I see two Redbirds every morning. In the past, there was only one. They sit on the fence & stare at me every morning, seemingly mocking me as I try time & time again to get a good photograph; they never perch when I'm on watch. If they perch & I slyly try to get a photo, they instinctively fly away until the camera's put up again; then back to stare; ugh; Boujee Birds!😬😂

Yes!
The traffic is so light I can hear birdsong from the nearby park.
Plus it seems the lighter traffic, creating less pollution is making for drier weather already.
