Brazil Fazenda Santa Luzia + Indian Monsooned Malabar: the whole exceeds the sum of its parts. Mixing these two light roasts yields something with a medium taste and texture on the palate, despite my attempt to screw it up by putting in one packet too many of Equal. There's a nice toasty element in the mix, which is smooth and balanced overall. Not a bad way to start the coffee alchemy.
