Another gardener question:

Is it too late in the season to replant and start over with a new crop of beans?

I was really looking forward to fresh string beans...and only got to eat some twice, before they collapsed and stopped producing.

I live in the PNW. We are at the peak of our summer heat now. I've heard of planting peas as a fall crop, but beans?

Any success stories or recommendations?

Thanks!

@BlueStateBabe what growing zone are you in? I just planted beans, peas, carrots, rutabaga, kohlrabi. In zone 7a/b
