@process I had that exact same thought. Their babies will be shoved into iron lungs, their precious boys will go sterile from having mumps, or they'll die from measles and scarlet fever.
I have a couple ancestors who died from scarlet fever. The husband has a couple who died from the Spanish flu. My oldest caught scarlet fever when she was about 3 and it was no big deal.
Don't forget taking fluoride out of the water!
@process I grew up on well water, so there was no fluoride in that. We got fluoride treatments at the dentist.
So far *knock wood* I still have most of my teeth, but I've got four crowns, and probably be needing another one. *sigh* However, my sister has had all her teeth pulled, and my brother was looking kinda snaggle toothy last time I saw him. Maybe I'm just more anal about brushing and flossing. And I've had regular dental visits since I've been married. They did not have that.
@GeezerWench it’s just awful - now we don’t have fluoride in our water here - we also don’t have great teeth comparatively
