Some say it's a personality quirk (like I don't have enough of those already), but I absolutely hate ever being late to anything. Many years ago, a mentor of mine told me something I've never forgotten: "Early is on time, on time is late, late is unacceptable."
@GaryPoole I used to be that way. Then I went on QST (Queer Standard Time) and then added WST (Wife Standard Time) and MIST (Mental Illness Standard Time). So now I just stay HOME.
