@GaryPoole Hmmm ... Depends on your definition of SF. "Tomorrowland" is my favorite guilty pleasure. "The Right Stuff" is my favorite overall movie, but it's more like engineering fiction based on historical events.
"2001" is the classic go-to, but I also like seminal works like "Things to Come" and "Metropolis."

The original Blade Runner with Harrison Ford. I like the version with the narration over the director's cut, which seems less focused to me.
Saw it not too long ago and the visuals still knock me out. Beloved by every graphic designer I know.
