@GaryPoole A legit Mexican mole, made by someone's Grandmother.
Can’t really say I’d want to try haggis or that Sardinian maggot cheese…so maybe ackee?
Article from ‘20 cuz convenient —
@GaryPoole I almost had a chance to possibly, maybe go to a fundraiser that served Mastadon. I lost out but I've always wondered how it was. Maybe just an itch i can't scratch, though.
@GaryPoole Watching timpano being made in The Big Night really made me want to try it. Soylent Green had the opposite effect.
@GaryPoole
I think I've tried everything I have wanted to (& some I didn't).
@GaryPoole not anything specific but would like to experience Middle Eastern cooking.
Spaghetti squash, eggplant parm, & a few others.
Something I've tried, more as a dare as anything: dried mill worms. texture like crispy rice, but very salty. I will not eat them again, lol. It was an exchange like an exchange student at the summer camp I went to. They were from SE Asia. From what I gathered it was like a snack.
I have Scottish ancestry, and have always been (somewhat) curious about haggis. Just never had the opportunity.
