I've kept one houseplant (a pothos) alive for 12 years. Otherwise, my house is where plants to go to die. I've even managed to kill bamboo, which I've been told is nearly impossible.
It's not.
@GaryPoole not that I recommend this. I sometimes think I should visit our old house in Alabama in the spring, to see whether they've been able to control the bamboo better than I was. Go out of town in the month of May for several weeks and the gravel driveway would become a 3-ft tall Forest of it.

Yup me too. In the 70s I had lots of beautiful plants in the house, fuscias hanging on the porch, & a vegetable garden in back. Use it before you lose it is all I can say.
