The common loon. They have such a lovely call. Tho the saw whet owl is a close second because it's so cute.

Never thought about a favorite bird... perhaps peregrine falcon... oh yeah, I like penguins; they are funny as hell!
@GaryPoole Red tail hawks when I was in Michigan. Barred owl here in Vermont.
