Made vegan cheesesteaks for dinner. They are very yummy.
I’m enjoying more alternatives to meat in my recipes simply because meat is getting more and more expensive. But honestly I don’t mind, these were delicious and healthier than a meat based meal.

Just started playing Doki Doki Literature Club (yes I'm late to the party). I knew I was getting into a psychological horror game, but I didn't think the game would get under my skin this much.

I just finished Act 1 and the weird, discordant stuff is just starting to happen. I have never been this unsettled by a game before (and I love the Silent Hill franchise).

I want to finish the game to see where it goes, but it's going to be a tense, disturbing journey.

I find it funny that I have played all of the Yakuza / Like a Dragon games (and the 2 Judgement spin offs), but have not finished a single one, I have no desire to go back and start them over to try and finish them. But I am super excited for the new Like a Dragon games coming out. I know I will buy (and probably never finish) them.

I really like that Square Enix has been releasing demos for a lot of their games recently. Everything from Stranger of Paradise to Theatrhythm Final Bar Line to Octopath Traveler 2. I wish more companies would release demos of their games. With so many games coming out and getting more expensive it's hard to judge a game based on YouTube videos alone. More demos please!

Persona 4 Golden came out on Xbox today. Persona 5 is one of my favorite games of all time, but for some reason I have never had the motivation to play more than 2 hours of Persona 4.

Yes I own it on the Vita, yes I own it on Steam. But this time I swear I will play and finish Persona 4 Golden! (Right after I finish Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope 😂 )

Marvel should adapt the Midnight Suns game into the next phase of the MCU. I would love to see that plot brought to the movies.

Babylon is a very good movie. It’s like if Singin In the Rain and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood got together and had a wild drug fueled party. It’s an insane movie and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s both a love letter to old Hollywood and a comedy about the gratuitous, decadent excess of Hollywood.

Happy Holidays wonderful people of CoSo!

Some interesting games revealed at
I’m most excited for Hades 2, Death Stranding 2, and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.

The winners weren’t too surprising. I think Cult of the Lamb should have won best indie, but Stray is amazing and very deserving of the award.

Interesting stats from what I listened to in YouTube music this year. I love fun stats like this.

An added benefit to black Friday is that I clean up my email accounts by unsubscribing to all the news letters I get sent this week

The music in Scarlet/Violet is pretty great. The stuff in Area Zero reminds me of music from Nier Automata

Tár is an interesting movie. Immediately after seeing it, I wasn't sure if I liked it. My initial thoughts were is was overlong and a very slow burn.

But after letting it simmer in my mind for a few days I really like it. Yes, it is slow and methodical. But it is necessary in order to set up Tár's character, and her actions. It's a movie that trusts the viewer's intelligence and leaves you with thoughtful questions in your mind to ruminate over.

Maybe it's just me but CoSO seems a more positive place than other social media sites. I've been on other forums and sites today, specifically looking at stuff about the new Pokémon games and all I read are people complaining and being toxic. I don't get that same vibe here on CoSo.

You know Black Friday sales are underway when I look at my Amazon wish list and see every game I want is on sale. 😂

Having an injured back sucks. I can't go to the gym, I can't go to jujitsu. On the plus side my evenings are freed up so I have more time to play God Of War, and if all goes well, I should be able to get back to the gym and jujitsu next week.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever was very good. Easily the best Marvel movie since Endgame. It had some very touching moments in it to honour Chadwick Boseman and his legacy as T’Challa.

To all my gamer friends out there, do you ever feel like games are just iterating instead of innovating? Playing the new God Of War and it is amazing, no question about that. But I just feel like I’ve played it before. What was the last game you played that did something unique and different?
personally , I’d say Cult of the Lamb is the most recent game I played that felt different.

Ordered a Starbucks Chai Latte via mobile, and ordered it to the wrong location (totally my fault, wasn't paying attention to where I was ordering). I went to where I thought I ordered it, and realized my mistake. was about to leave and drive to the correct location, and the barista had made me a chai latte. That was so nice of him! He didn't have to do that. I was totally willing to drive to the other location where my order was placed
