My god, Colin Jost delivered biting comedy and the press corp was like a corpse. He kept looking left and right trying to figure out why his jokes weren't landing.

@FireMonkey I don't know who Colin is, but if he's supposed to be a comedienne, I hope he has a second job. I didn't think he was funny. His delivery was too dry.

I think the jokes landed too close to the journalists...it was critique clothed in yes, dry, comedy. Colin is the head writer/producer of SNL and host of the Weekend Update segment along with Michael Che. He is married to Scarlett Johannsen, so he must be doing something right. 😉

I do agree his timing was off. He's used to reading the news in individual little clips and he doesn't have the connected timing to land his jokes.
@FireMonkey Well, good for him. I know it was aimed at the journalist, hence, the program. Still not impressed, but then, I'm sure he doesn't give a F what I think because I'm not as important as the people he associates with. At least, you enjoyed the show.
