No joke. As a kid, I used to believe that they were mice meat pies. My mother would help the church ladies in the kitchen to make them. I knew this was so because of the Tom and Jerry where cat yells "I'm going to make mincemeat out of you" to the mouse. I was a kid and I hunted rabbits and squirrels and we ate them, why not mice? 🤷‍♂️
