I cut my 30 pages plus down to one page plus a page of five recommendations.
That was years ago and it didn't do any good either. Nobody wants somebody over 50.
So I do my own thing. It's been okay but it hasn't been great. I wear many hats. It keeps me interested.
We're rounded and don't fit to their square holes.
Semi-retired since my first job - or gig as it's called now. Been a gig-worker since the 80's. 😂
@FireMonkey Us over 50's are the missing glue that organizations need, our perspective and underlying knowledge are usually more in tune with the problems that modern training ignores as we understand the entire system and how it fits together and not just the bit that has been learnt about.
The emphasis on fundamentals seem to be a major missing component in most training nowadays.
