I found out this week that my insurance, even the "upgraded to full Medicaid benefits" I now have, will only cover an eye exam every three years. I called my insurance & they said I'll need my doctor to submit clinical notes explaining why I have to have them yearly, (I don't have diabetes or glaucoma).
I just sent a message to my dr and here's crossing my fingers that she'll do this for me and that my insurance will do the right thing.

I just had a Medicare eye exam. Costco. One a year, just for optometry, not Opthalmology. (?) Like we'll put glasses on you, but take care of any problems you got? Nah, that'll be extra. At least that's how I remember it. And remember I've got Medicare. My memory might not be complete. 😉
