A friend had just that car and we cruised the neighborhood feelin' mighty cool in that car many times - it was about as fancy a "foreign car" as anybody'd seen in that part of high school Texas -- Houston in the 70's. 😆

when i went to UIUC for a summer session, i flew into Chicago and caught a ride with a classmate whose husband had a BMW 2002tii. We got lots of looks. not as cool as the TR, but still cool.
