@FireMonkey Morning π
@Mandypar
Good morning Mandy! How's your day been over there across the pond? Thank you for the personal hello - I never know whether to pick out people individually or just greet CoSo family in general. It's quite nice of you. π
@FireMonkey I tend to post a generic morning message when I log on, then I reply to others' messages wishing them an individual morning. Due to the influx of new folks, I tend to work off my "My Friends" column hence I responded to you.
It's been sunny here today, and so we have made the best of our solar panels and done 2 loads of laundry and 1 load in the dishwasher. Now I am catching up with some outstanding book reviews that I needed to write. I hope you have a great day! π€
@Mandypar
I'm here more since "the influx" and some life changes that have given me more time, and do try to post a general greeting, but it's far from every day.
@Mandypar
Yeah it's technical but it's not rocket surgery, we have the means and the knowledge and the money is sitting there. Bureaucracy and greed. But the people are leading - there are two or three local cooperatives that have set up to build from the ground up community solar.
@FireMonkey The failure to do something central is a shame as I'm sure solar could be done in parallel with infrastructure and then at least it could be done properly. It would be much harder to try and do that retrospectively.
Thankfully in the UK we have a national grid for electricity and so our panels feed into the national grid with any that is spare (and we get paid for what we generate no matter how much we send).
